I vary the dry rub, based on to whom I am serving.
If you want to make it even easier, rather than using a dry rub for the cook just use a generic BBQ sauce. I find the real flavour comes from the last step of lathering them up in a pan immediately before serving.
I often do these in my Oklahoma Joe Smoker. (No smoking, just large surface and good heat source.)
